Child Health Services

Child health services are offered as a part of the comprehensive primary care program at the health department. Child health services include well child physicals (periodic checkups), school physicals, and sick child or problem visits. Child health services are extended to patients aged newborn to 18 years old. We participate in the Medicaid Child Health Checkup program and our physical exams meet all required components of a comprehensive assessment and exam. These services are integrated with our obstetrics and immunization programs, WIC, and other services. Parent and patient education are emphasized for prevention and early detection of problems.
