There are several National HIV/AIDS Awareness days throughout the year. The Manatee County Health Department partners with community organizations, groups, and individuals to recognize and commemorate these Awareness days, and provides free HIV and STD testing at events.
If you are interested in hosting or sponsoring events for any of the Awareness days (in picture below), please contact us at (941) 748-0747 Ext. 1298.

Also, our mobile medical unit or HIV prevention staff are available to come to your place of business, worship, or gathering for special events such as health fairs or similar events. If you?d like to schedule HIV and/or STD testing at your event, please contact us at (941) 748-0747 Ext. 1432.
