We Care Manatee, Inc. is the only 501 (c) (3) charitable nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing free specialty medical services to uninsured residents of Manatee County, Florida. Through its volunteer healthcare provider network, We Care Manatee provides free specialty physician medical care to County residents who are 18 through 64 years of age, have no source of health insurance coverage, are at or below 150% of the Federally established poverty level and who can not pay for needed specialty medical services. We Care Manatee operates three (3) distinct programs: Specialty Physician Program, Pharmaceutical Program and We Care's Free Clinics. We Care Manatee, Inc. provides a dynamic response to a community in crisis by forming partnerships with community leaders, health care providers, as well as institutions.
