The Administration Department Provides operational
and technical support for the Marion County Health Department's seven
facilities and more than 295 employees. Services are provided through the following
subsections: Human Resources, Fiscal, Accounts Payable and Purchasing.
Human Resources is responsible for administering a complete personnel program for
MCHD employees. Services include processing payroll actions, leave and attendance;
interpreting policies, rules, regulations and employee benefits; initiating appropriate
classification actions. MCHD is an equal opportunity employer.
Fiscal is responsible for ensuring that the financial practices and policies align
with the Florida Department Of Health and State of Florida protocol.
Accounts Payable is responsible for ensuring that all debits, credits, and financial
transactions of the health department are completed, recorded and align with the State
of Florida financial policies.
Purchasing is responsible for ordering and procuring all supplies and resources
used by the health department.
