Maternity

Maternity provides Obstetrical care for low risk and high risk pregnant women who are Medicaid eligible

Services

  • Pregnancy testing

  • Medicaid presumptive eligibility screening (PEPW)

  • Routine prenatal care by nurse midwives for women delivering in Ocala

  • High risk prenatal care by UF Staff for women delivering at Shands

  • Routine laboratory tests; Sonogram

  • HIV Counseling and Testing

  • Healthy Start screening

  • Post Partum examinations

Eligibility:

  • Women with positive pregnancy test at or below 185% of Federal Poverty Guidelines

  • Prescreening Forms

Fees:

  • Medicaid, assigned provider for Medipass, Medicaid HMO's

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • By appointment
