FUEL STORAGE TANKS

Old, rusty fuel storage tank

The Fuel Storage Tank Section at the Martin County Health Department regulates stationary storage tanks in accordance with Rule 62-761, Florida Administrative Code. 

This office conducts annual compliance inspections, closure, installation, and discharge inspections, by authorizing through a contract with the Department of Environmental Protection. Plan submittal and review prior to commencement of installation, closure, or upgrade activities is required by this office.
