WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children. The following is provided to qualified applicants at no cost: Checks to purchase healthy foods (e.g. fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk, cheese, eggs, cereal and  juice). Blood iron level screening. Anthropometric (height and weight) screening. Breastfeeding promotion and support. Nutrition information for prenatal and post-partum women, infants, and children up to age 5. Healthcare referrals.
