Vital Statistics registers all Births and Deaths occurring in Pasco County. 

Certified copies of Florida birth records from 1917 - present are available to eligible applicants with valid ID. Copies are $12/first copy, $8/each additional copy of same record.

Optional Purchase:     Protective Plastic Covers for Birth Certificates: $3.00 each. 

Pasco County death records from 1970 - present are available with some restrictions for $10 per copy. 

Vital Statistics staff also provides assistance in explaining how to obtain out-of-state records, or filing record amendments (corrections, paternity acknowledgements).
