  If you are a physician needing to report a communicable illness or hazardous incident and it is after normal business hours, a weekend or holiday  please call:

  The Pasco County Epidemiology Division offers many services. Among these you will find:
  • Prevention, Education, and Information on reportable Communicable diseases, Rabies, Lead, Bio-Medical Waste, and Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Provide rabies vaccine education and ordering instructions to physicians when required
  • Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Control, Education, and Information, as well as a Prevention Program
  • HIV/AIDS Education, Prevention, Testing and Counseling, and Outreach program
  • AIDS Patient Care and Case Management
  • Community Education Services
  • Health Care Provider In-Service Training Programs and Consultation Services
