Animal Spay and Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP)
The County Health Department is concerned with animal control issues and offers eligibility determination and subsequent issuance of vouchers to families who qualify for our Low Cost Spay / Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP). Up to two dogs or cats per year, per family can receive low cost spay/neuter services from local veterinarians through this program. Call (386) 326-3200, option 2 for additional information.
State of Florida Insulin Program
This program is available to Florida residents who do not have insurance coverage for their insulin and who have been deemed to be financially disadvantaged and can not afford to pay full price for their insulin. Financial eligibility requirements apply and must be updated annually. A prescription is required every six months. Call (386) 326-3200 for information.
TOP
"TOP" is a Positive Youth Development program offered in Putnam County Schools to 10th graders. The program follows the model of using asset-building to reduce high-risk behaviors. Lessons include goal-setting, healthy relationships, leadership building and decision making.
