VFC - Child Vaccines
Vaccinations are FREE TO ALL CHILDREN 6 weeks through 18 years of age.
Vaccines available include:
- DTaP
- Polio
- Hepatitis B
- HIB
- Rotavirus
- Pneumococcal (Prevnar)
- MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella)
- Varicella (Chicken Pox)
- Hepatitis A
- TD (Tetanus/Diphtheria)
- TdaP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis - Which is the &th grade requirement)
- Meningococcal (Menactra)
- HPV (Human Pappiloma Virus - Gardasil)
Adult Vaccines
Many adult vaccines are available:
- TD
- TdaP
- Hepatitis A & B
- MMR
- VZV
- Pneumonia
- Zostavax
- HPV
Influenza Vaccine
Flu & Pneumonia shots are now available. Flu $26.00 Pneumonia $70.00
Monday thru Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Fridays 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
It is recommended that you call our office to confirm clinic times on the day you would like to come in. This is a walk-in clinic.
We also have High Dose Pneumonia for individuals ages 65 and over. Medicare Part B will cover the cost of your Flu & Pneumonia vaccines. If you do not have Medicare Part B, and are 65 and older, your cost will be $41.00 for the Flu vaccine and $70.00 for the Pneumonia vaccine.
The Flu vaccine is available for children ages 6 months thru 18 years of age, at no cost.
Tuberculosis Testing
TB testing is available daily EXCEPT THURSDAY for all ages. Ages 19 and over the fee is $10.00 with return to the clinic for reading and documentation within 48 to 72 hours.
Travel Immunizations
We offer the following travel vaccines. Hep A & B, TD, TdaP, Flu, meningococcal and rabies. Contact the Alachua County Health Department at 352-334-7900 for other travel vaccines, if needed.
