The Putnam County Health Department (PCHD) is pleased to provide services to the residents and visitors of our county. Putnam County is a growing county in North Central Florida and the health department is a leader in Public Health in the community.

I have been the Administrator of the Putnam County Health Department since January 2008. I began my professional career at PCHD in December 1998 as an Accountant. Over a ten year span, I advanced to Business Manager, then to Administrative Services Director, and in May of 2007 was appointed as Acting Administrator.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Georgia Southwestern in 1993 and earned a Masters of Accounting degree from the University of North Florida in 1997. I am also a 2004 graduate of the University of South Florida Public Health Leadership Institute.

Putnam County Health Department strives for a healthier Putnam County and over the past 4 years I have worked closely with community partners to continue to build a strong community alliance that addresses the local public health issues, which will effectively create cultural changes for healthier behaviors and lifestyles.
