Environmental Health Education
The Environmental Health division of the Florida Department
of Health in Santa Rosa County (EH) is committed to our
community and frequently attends local events to promote environmental health
initiatives and educate citizens about important public health topics. EH has attended a diverse range of events and has given topic-specific
presentations for both large and small groups, and has sponsored, promoted,
supported, and participated in many community based projects and events.
For example, EH has given
educational presentations or set up informational sessions at health fairs,
Relay for Life events, public schools, and seminars. The EH division has provided
presentations on topics such as food safety, proper hand-washing techniques for
schoolchildren, and recycling among others.
EH is ready to provide your
organization with information and support and is available to deliver fun,
informative, and tailored presentations or demonstrations to your group or
event. Please contact them at
(850) 983-5275 for more information about community outreach or health education
opportunities.
