How do I apply for WIC?
To apply for WIC, you need to contact the St. Johns County Health Department?s WIC Service Center. Our Specialists will schedule your WIC certification visit. At this visit, the household income and the medical/nutrition status of each applicant will be reviewed. On that day, you will find out if you and your children are eligible for WIC.
Eligibility
To be eligible for WIC you must be pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum, or under the age of five. Additionally, your total household income must be equal to or less than the amounts shown in the table below. Current Medicaid, Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA), or Food Stamps also qualifies you as income-eligible. However, you do not have to be on a public assistance program to qualify for the WIC program.
