Mobile Home Parks, RV Parks, Recreational Camps & Migrant Labor Camp Programs
-Return to the Environmental Health Main-
Mobile Home, R.V. Parks, Recreational Camps, and Migrant Farm Worker Housing are establishments that each require an operating permit from the Florida Department of Health. Any changes or modifications to the park facilities must be approved by the Health Department.
Mobile Home/ R.V. Parks are inspected each year to assure that water supply and sewage disposal facilities are properly maintained, garbage is being properly handled and disposed, and general sanitation of park is maintained in good order, i.e. no junk, stray animals, rodent harborage, etc. If the park has a swimming pool, that is also inspected. Recreational Vehicle Parks must post their site rates and have the current rate schedule filed with the local health department.
