IMMUNIZATIONS SERVICES

Welcome to the Immunizations Service Center!

Vaccines prevent disease in the people who receive them and protect those who come into contact with unvaccinated individuals. Vaccines help prevent infectious diseases and save lives. Vaccines are responsible for the control of many infectious diseases that were once common in this country.

Cost
Generally, there is no charge for immunizations services for infants & children up to 18 years of age.

Immunizations Services are also offered at select locations throughout the county. Please call us or visit the schedule for the Public Health Mobile Center for more information.


Child Vaccines

Immunizing children helps to protect individual health as well as the health of our community. The following vaccines are currently offered by our clinic:

  • DTaP
  • Hepatitis B
  • HIB
  • Rotavirus
  • Meningococcal (Menactra)
  • MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella)
  • Pneumoccal (Prevnar)
  • Polio
  • Varicella (Chicken pox)

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria
  • TdaP
  • HPV(human pappiloma virus-Gardasil) – now offered to Boys and Girls

As part of The Early Childhood Immunization Initiative, the Bureau of Immunization has launched a new web site, www.ImmunizeFlorida.orgnew window. The site contains comprehensive information for medical providers, parents, and the community regarding early childhood immunization.
