Tuberculosis

  The Sumter County Health Department provides testing and treatment for Tuberculosis at both clinic sites.  Medication is provided to individuals requiring treatment for active TB disease or latent TB infection.  Health care providers and laboratories are required by law to report all suspected and confirmed cases of TB to the local health department within 72 hours.
