Please Call for The Healthy Start Mom's Meeting Times and Locations

Say “yes” to a healthy start for you and your baby!

Healthy Start provides maternal and child health services to improve pregnancy outcomes and help children get a healthy start in life.  Healthy Start offers services for you when you are pregnant or between pregnancies, and for your baby from birth to age three.

Everyone qualifies for Healthy Start services by saying “yes” to Healthy Start screenings with your prenatal care provider and at the hospital at the time of the birth of your child.  Healthy Start screenings are simply a set of questions to determine if there are any risks that could affect your pregnancy and your baby’s growth or development.

Services include:

  • Case Management

  • Childbirth Education

  • Parenting Classes

  • Smoking Cessation

  • Breastfeeding Counseling and Assistance

  • Referrals for Counseling

  • Nutrition Counseling

  • Mom's Meetings (Please call for date and location)

Please contact Cely Wood or Melissa Johns at (904) 964-7732 for further information.
