Bradford County School Health Program
The Bradford County
School Health Program is dedicated to caring for our children by keeping
students healthy and ready to learn. Our team is made up of 3 Health
Support Aides and 3 Registered Nurses.
Our HSA's run three
of the school clinics, currently Southside Elementary, Starke Elementary,
and Bradford Middle School. They provide daily care for those students
requiring medication and for students who become injured or sick during the
school day.
Our RN's provide many
services for our students. They conduct annual health screenings for
vision, hearing, scoliosis, and Body Mass Index. We refer students who
fail these screenings and follow-up with their referrals throughout the
school year. We check every student's immunizations to make sure they
are compliant with current requirements for school entry. We work
closely with students who have special health needs such as asthma,
diabetes, allergies, etc. and help develop care plans for use during the
school day. We also teach health classes to students in elementary to
high school.
Below is information to contact your child's clinic. Please let us know if
there is anything we can do to help keep your child healthy and safe while at
school.
