Immunizations

Brevard County Health Department offers vaccines for all ages through our three clinic sites in Titusville, Viera and Melbourne on a walk in basis Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm. Please bring all relevant immunization history with you.

Childhood Immunizations

Recommended childhood vaccines are provided free of charge through the vaccines for Children (VFC) Program. Vaccines are given in our clinics by Registered Nurses who have extensive immunization experience and follow the guidelines as recommended by the Florida Department of Health and the Center for Diseases Control.

A Florida Immunization Certificate (DH680) is required for entry into Day Care and Schools in the State of Florida. Immunizations are required to be up to date for the child’s age for entry into Day Care. Immunizations are required to be completed or in the process of completion for children entering Kindergarten. A Tdap booster is required before entering 7th grade.

Adult Immunizations

For a fee, Brevard County Health Department offers travel, pneumonia, flu and other adult vaccines. Please call (321) 637-7300 to make an appointment for Travel Vaccines. The Yellow Fever vaccine is administered only at the Viera Clinic. For information on adult or travel vaccines please call our Adult Immunization Nurse at (321) 634-6335 or visit the web site:

Community Immunization Program

Our Immunization staff participates in health fairs, provide in-services, and presentations to the community about immunizations to educate and to promote the use of immunizations for children, teens, young adults and adults. We partner with various groups and businesses to provide market price flu and pneumonia outreaches to their communities prior to the flu season. Please contact the Adult immunization Nurse at (321) 634-6335 for more information.
