Early and regular prenatal care is important. The Brevard County Health Department encourages you to begin your prenatal care with your physician or with us.

The Brevard County Health Department offers Comprehensive Prenatal Care through Physicians, Certified Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Registered Dieticians, Social Workers, Lactation Specialists, Lab Technicians and Health Educators.

Specialized services include:

Breastfeeding Classes
Healthy Start Coalition screenings and referrals for care coordination
Nutrition Counseling
Referral to Childbirth Classes
Referral to Florida Quit line
Specialized Laboratory Services
WIC

All Brevard County residents are eligible for prenatal services. For those who do not meet requirements for Medicaid, services are provided with a fee based on income. Medicaid applications may be completed and submitted at all three clinic locations.
