A safe and healthy environment is crucial to the well being of each individual. Environmental Health programs are an essential part of Florida's Public Health services. These programs are aimed at preventing or reducing health risks that may occur in our daily surroundings. To insure delivery at the closest possible level, 19 Environmental Health programs are currently administered through the County Health Department.

Directions to our Office

From Jacksonville - I 295, exit #3. Travel South on US 17 and go approximately 15 miles to Green Cove Springs. Continue through Green Cove Springs until you see Houston Street. Turn right on Houston Street and left on Palmetto Avenue.We are located on the 3rd floor in the four story brick building.

From Keystone Heights - take SR 21 North to SR 16. Turn right on SR 16 and go into Green Cove Springs. Turn left immediately before the Walgreens onto Palmetto Ave and pass Walburg Street. We are located on the 3rd floor.

The Florida Environmental Public Health Tracking Program Launches New Online Portal.

In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Florida Environmental Public Health Tracking Program is pleased to announce the launch of its online portal. Please visit us at www.floridatracking.com and www.cdc.gov/ephtracking/

Mosquito or drainage complaints need to be filed with Clay County Public Works. They can be reached at GCS (904) 284-6335 or OP/MBG (904) 269-6335 or KH (352) 473-3711 or you can email them at public.works@co.clay.fl.us.

Complaints regarding noise, junk vehicles, abandoned property, unkempt yards, or private pools go through Code Enforcement. They can be reached at (904)284/269-6310.

Online Septic Records Retrieval
eBridge Solutions is a web-based records storage system. Available records include all final septic inspections from 2000 to present.

Not all records are available at this time, however, we are continuously scanning. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please give us a call at the number on the top of this page.

The retrieve tab is located in the upper left-hand side of the screen. Under “permit type” select Septic. You can search by permit number, street address, zip code, applicant name, Parcel ID #, and date.
