Healthy Start is a voluntary program available to all Florida residents who are pregnant or who have a baby under three years old.  After answering a short questionnaire at the provider's office or hospital, a risk level is assigned. If any problems are indicated, the client is contacted for Healthy Start services. Prenatal clients can be followed for the duration of their pregnancy and infants can be followed up to 3 years of age.
