CM Institutional Reports and Corrective Action Plan (CAP) Assessment Visits

In December 2001, the Department of Corrections entered into an offer of judgment in a lawsuit entitled Osterback v. Moore.  This lawsuit involved mentally ill inmates housed in a restricted setting called close management (CM).  Ultimately five institutions were designated by the Department of Corrections as suitable for housing CM inmates.  The Osterback agreement included a stipulation that the CMA monitor the provisions of the agreement.  The following reports are the results of this monitoring process.
