Disaster Behavioral Health Resources

The Department of Health, in conjunction with the Florida Crisis Consortium, has formed Regional Disaster Behavioral Health Assessment Teams (RDBHAT) to work with communities (at the request of local jurisdictions) to assess and manage behavioral health needs that occur as a result of a disaster. FDENS

The Florida Department of Health Emergency Notification System (FDENS) is a comprehensive notification and alerting tool used by public health professionals across the state and in neighboring states and territories to stay informed about situations affecting the health and safety of Florida residents and visitors. FDENS is the Florida Department of Health's Health Alert Network (HAN). If you are a public health professional and would like to register for FDENS, please email fdens-help@doh.state.fl.us. Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN)

HSIN Florida is a secure U.S. Department of Homeland Security web network supporting all levels of domestic security preparedness and response, and is accessible via the Internet.

Florida will use HISN Florida to house all key emergency preparedness and response plans, as well as meeting calendars, agendas, and other domestic security and regional task force information.
