• 50.6 % -  Have not heard about antibiotic resistance.
• 56.6% - Said that their health care provider have never talked to them about antibiotic resistance when prescribing antibiotics.
• 3.4% -  Have had a antibiotic resistant infection.
• 34% - Believe that antibiotics are a good medication for colds.
• 11% - do not know.

• Students under 17 years old have the highest rates of upper respiratory infections (URI or RTI).
• In the past four years URI have ranked within the 10 principal outpatient visit and discharge diagnoses for children 0 to 17 years old. 
• The most common diagnoses are otitis media, diseases of tonsils and adenoids, bronchitis and unspecified URI.
