Florida Annual Morbidity Statistics Report

Data on selected reportable diseases are published at the end of the year in the Florida Annual Morbidity Statistics Report.  These reports contain the official statistics, in tabular and graphic form, for the reported occurrence of notifiable infections diseases in Florida.  Unless otherwise noted, the data are final totals for the corresponding year.

The Florida morbidity report is compiled to:
1. Summarize annual morbidity from notifiable acute communicable and environmental diseases, and cancer in Florida;
2. Describe patterns of disease as an aid in directing future disease prevention and control efforts; and,
3. Provide a resource to medical and public health authorities at county, state and national levels.
