2002 County BRFSS Reports and Variable Maps - Errata

Revisions were made to the following variables in all 2002 County BRFSS reports and a few of the variable maps, effective August 21, 2003:

  1. Hispanic (throughout reports)
  1. Engage in heavy or binge drinking (page 3 of all reports); changes also made to the map for this variable (map #23)
  1. If yes [ever been tested for HIV], the test was done in the past 2 years (page 8 of all reports); changes also made to the map for this variable (map #39)

The titles of the following maps were changed as follows:

Map #19    Prevalence of "Had Flu Shot at County Health Dept. in Past 12 Months"

Map #28    Prevalence of "Had Last Pap Smear Within Past 2 Years" Among Adult Women

Map #36    Prevalence of "Had Blood Stool Test Within Past 2 Years" Among Adults 50 and Older

Note:  Unless otherwise indicated, the denominator for each estimate in these reports is all adults.
