Note: The following recommendations for the treatment of Fecal Accidents In Public Swimming Pools are from the Centers For Disease Control. Section 64E-9.004(1)(d)2,  Florida Administrative Code, requires that public pools maintain a minimum of 1 part per million (1mg/L) of free chlorine when in operation.  Section 64E-9.017, Florida Administrative Code, indicates that pools with less than 1 mg/L free chlorine may be posted closed by the Department.
