** Definitions differ for calculation of Pregnancies – CDC uses fetal losses, abortions and live births (as reported by Vital Statistics in MMWR Vol 49, # 4)(13) The Alan Guttmacher Institute calculates the rate as the sum of births, miscarriages and abortions.

Florida abortion rates are not available in age clusters. The Guttmacher institute uses neighboring state same age abortion data rates to calculate abortion for Florida.(11)
