Objectives
Upon completion of this training the participant will be able to:
- Define what is meant by the term culture.
- Explain how acculturation can benefit or cause barriers to health
outcomes.
- Define health literacy.
- List the five steps to take towards becoming culturally competent.
- Define empathetic listening.
