Objectives
Upon completion of this training the participant will be able to:
- Explain the goals of Healthy Start (HS), the role of the Healthy Start Coalitions (HSC) and the role of Healthy Families Florida (HFF).
- Understand why a participant of Healthy Start should be referred for nutrition counseling.
- Be able to list the participants? most likely to benefit from nutrition counseling.
- Understand the required qualifications for a provider of nutrition counseling.
