Captured in this toolkit are Florida's first attempts at
developing a women's health "presence" through building relationships,
creating momentum and sustaining progress. These efforts have been
successful largely due to dedicated stakeholders throughout the state.
Sustainability of these efforts was greatly enhanced with the help of
insightful legislators; however, progress will only occur with continued
collaboration, rigorous data analysis, and innovative initiatives. Tools and
strategies have been explained in detail in the hope that local communities,
other agencies and organizations, as well as other states will find tips to
help them integrate women's health services from pieces of patchwork into a
comprehensive quilt of services. |
