Davis Productivity Awards

Since 1989, the Prudential-Davis Productivity Awards Program has recognized and rewarded Florida’s state government employees whose work significantly and measurably increases productivity, and promotes innovation to improve the delivery of state services and/or saves money for Florida taxpayers and businesses. This major government improvement initiative is chaired by Florida’s Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll, and sponsored by Florida TaxWatch, The Florida Council of 100, and the State of Florida.

2011 Award Winners
The 2011 winners of the Prudential-Davis Productivity Awards Program were announced by Florida TaxWatch in March 2011. The department had 68 winners this year! The 2011 awards competition attracted 570 total nominations, and represented $473 million in cost savings and cost avoidances for Florida's state government and businesses. Cash awards ($200 to $2,750), commemorative plaques, and certificates were presented to winning state employees at awards ceremonies throughout the state in June 2011.
