A. Specific instructions for required items may be found in the Complete Examination Schedule for your specific
profession.
Q. Where can I obtain copies of the Candidate Information Booklet (CIB)?
A. CIBs may be
found and downloaded at the Complete Examination Schedule
webpage.
Q. What accommodations are offered for candidates with disabilities?
A. The Department provides reasonable and appropriate accommodations in
accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 for
individuals with documented disabilities who demonstrate a need for
accommodation. Accommodations that are normally granted are:
- scribe
- reader
- extra or extended time
- large print examination
- printed copy of verbal instructions read by the proctor
- separate testing area
Q. How do I apply for Special Accommodations?
A. An application and supporting documentation (the purpose of
documentation is to validate that the individual is covered under the
Americans with Disabilities Act as a disabled individual) must be
postmarked 60 days prior to the test for which special testing
accommodations are requested. If the application is submitted after that
time, accommodations cannot be made. Early requests are encouraged to
expedite the process. You may download applications from the Special
Testing Accommodations or contact Testing Services at

Q. When and how will I receive grade notification?
A. Candidates will receive written and/or Online Notification of examination results four to eight weeks after the examination.
Please note that examination results cannot be given out over the
telephone.
Q. How do I update the address that is on file?
A. Candidates may update their addresses by submitting a Change of
Address form to Testing Services by downloading it from the
Pre-Licensure Change of Address or by filling out the
Change of Address form in your Candidate Information Booklets.
Q. How do I request a Post-Exam Review?
A. Detailed information regarding Post-Exam Reviews can be found in the Candidate Information Booklets for your profession. For
additional questions, please call (850) 245-4252.
Q. How do I request a hearing not involving material fact (Hearing
Option A)?
A. A candidate who fails the licensure examination by less than 10% and
who decides to elect their hearing rights may request a hearing not
disputing material fact pursuant to Section 120.57(2) of the Florida
Statues. To do so, the candidate must submit a petition to the Agency
Clerk’s office, via surface mail or fax, within twenty-one (21) days
from the date on the Department’s original grade notification or, if you
plan to review the examination, within twenty-one (21) days of the date
of your review of your examination. Please see the Candidate Information Booklets for your profession for more information.

Q. How do I request a hearing disputing material fact (Hearing Option
B)?
A. A candidate who fails the licensure examination by less than 10% and
who decides to elect their hearing rights may request a hearing

the Florida Statues. To do so, the candidate must submit a petition to
the Agency Clerk’s office, via surface mail or fax, within twenty-one
