CONTINUING EDUCATION
 CE Course and Tracking Information. Continuing education information for licensees and CE providers


For Initial Licensure

Applicants are required to submit proof of completion of the following continuing education (CE) prior to issuance of license:

  • Two (2) hour course relating to prevention of medical errors
For First Renewal

Licensees initially licensed are exempt from the CE requirements for their first renewal with the exception of:

  • Two (2) hour course relating to prevention of medical errors
  • Three (3) hours of HIV/AIDS

All courses must be approved by the Board of Acupuncture. To view registered CE providers and board-approved courses, please visit the www.cebroker.com website. All credit hours must be earned within the biennium period for which they are claimed.

For Renewal of License Following Your First Renewal

Every licensee must complete 30 hours of approved CE within the biennium for which they are claimed. The requirements are:

  • Two (2) hour course relating to prevention of medical errors
  • Two (2) hours of Florida Laws and Rules
  • Five (5) hours of Biomedical Sciences
  • Twenty-one (21) hours of general CE

Note: Continuing education programs relating to laboratory tests and imaging findings will be considered as biomedical sciences.
