Health Facility Regulation (AHCA)
AHCA is responsible for the regulation of the following: Health Care Clinics, Home Care, Hospital and Outpatient Services, as well as Laboratory Licensure.

Department of Financial Services (DFS)
Financial services manages the state's accounting and auditing functions, monitors the investment of state funds, investigates financial fraud, licenses and exercises oversight of insurance agents and agencies, ensures that Florida businesses have workers' compensation coverage, safeguards unclaimed property, helps consumers with financial services issues and serves as the state fire marshal, investigating arson and promoting fire safety.
Impaired Practitioners Program of Florida
Professional Resource Network (PRN) - PRN is one of the two programs designated as the State of Florida's Impaired Practitioners Programs (the other being the Intervention Project for Nurses). As such, PRN serves as the Consultant to the Department of Health (DOH) on matters relating to practitioner impairment. PRN also works closely with the DOH Legal Departments in regard to impairment related mitigation factors during disciplinary proceedings.
Intervention Project for Nurses (IPN)
IPN was established in 1984 through legislative action to ensure public health and safety through a program that provides close monitoring of nurses who are unsafe to practice due to impairment as a result of misuse or abuse of alcohol or drugs, or both, or due to a mental or physical condition which could affect the licensee's ability to practice with skill and safety.
