New laws impacting health care regulation

Electrolysis Training Programs Approved By the Board. As a reminder to students attending an electrolysis-training program, the Electrolysis Council does not approve applicants who take home study or correspondence school training. Please refer to Rule 64B8-53.001, F.A.W.

Senate Bill 1986 regarding Health Care Fraud and Convictions

Reporting Requirement - Section 456.063(3), Florida Statutes, states: Licensed health care practitioners shall report allegations of sexual misconduct to the department, regardless of the practice setting in which the alleged sexual misconduct occurred.
